We need a senator who can bring our tax dollars home, lower costs for working families, support Main Street businesses, expand housing, protect our land and water, and make sure our region is not left behind.
Affordability for Working Families
Western Maryland families are not asking for luxury. They are asking for breathing room.
Main Street & Small Business Growth
If Annapolis can create programs for big developers, it can create programs that a bakery, barber shop, repair shop, farm, or restaurant can actually use.
Housing People Can Afford
We do not just need more housing. We need homes that workers, seniors, young families, and first-time buyers can actually afford.
Trades, Apprenticeships, & Local Jobs
Not every student needs a four-year degree, but every student deserves a pathway to a good job.
Healthcare, EMS, & Behavioral Health
Healthcare access should not depend on your ZIP code. Western Maryland deserves care close to home.
Protecting Land, Water, & Local Control
Western Maryland is not a sacrifice zone. Development has to create real local benefit and protect the land and water that sustain us.
Water & Utility Affordability
Safe, affordable water and utilities are basic needs. I will push for stronger oversight of private utilities, rural water infrastructure funding, and affordability protections when rates become unsustainable.
Roads, Bridges, Broadband, & Infrastructure
Western Maryland cannot grow if our infrastructure is always last in line. I will fight for roads, bridges, broadband, water systems, and site-ready industrial land.
Addiction, Recovery, & Workforce
We need enforcement against traffickers, treatment for people seeking recovery, and recovery-to-work pathways so people can rebuild their lives and rejoin the workforce.

During the COVID shutdown, Ashley began baking from home. What started as a way to get through a difficult time became AJ’s Cookie Jar, a small business in Downtown Cumberland. As a business owner, she understands rising costs, thin margins, workforce challenges, and the importance of a strong Main Street economy.
